Clare Fraser:

  • Clinical Director and Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist at TherapyMatters
  • Qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1989 from Liverpool University
  • Worked in a variety of acute and rehab hospital settings around UK and Australia – and most recently had a specialist educational role at Wirral University Teaching Hopsital NHS Trust, providing specialist teaching and input to the physiotherapy staff wtih their complex neurological patient caseload at Clatterbridge and Arrowe Park Hospitals.
  • Has specialised within the area of neurological rehabilitation since 1993
  • Currently working at TherapyMatters and also has a staff supervision and educational role at St Cyrils Hospital in Chester
  • Regularly teaches at an undergraduate and post graduate level within the public sector (NHS / University)
  • Is a Bobath Tutor and a member of the British Bobath Tutors Association, regularly teaching physiotherapists and occupational therapists at a post-graduate level around the UK

Richard Brookes

  • Business Practice Manager at TherapyMatters.
  • Qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1990 from Chester College
  • Has worked in a variety of hospitals around the North West region
  • Has specialised within the area of neurology and neurological rehabilitation since 1997 most recently as a ‘Clinical Nurse Specialist Stroke Coordinator’ at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust working with acute stroke patients.
  • Has been involved in delivering educational seminars and teaching sessions at an undergraduate and post graduate level within the public sector (NHS / University).
  • Has worked closely with organisations such as The Stroke Association in providing educational and advisory support for patients and their carers following strokes.

Tim Walton:

  • Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist at TherapyMatters
  • Qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in1990 from Manchester.University
  • Worked in the NHS in a variety of hospitals in London, Sheffield and Manchester
  • Has specialised within the area of neurological rehabilitation since 1994
  • Currently working at a regional neuro-rehabilitation unit in Central Manchester as a ‘clinical lead Physiotherapist’. He has a specialist role leading the physiotherapy service in managing a complex neurological patient caseload and leads in the education for the senior staff.
  • Regularly teaches at an undergraduate and post graduate level within the public sector (NHS / University)
  • Is training to be a Bobath Tutor and is an associate member of the International Bobath Instructors Training Association (IBITA).

Emma Adams:

  • Specialist Occupational Therapist at TherapyMatters (special interests in Traumatic & Acquired Brain Injury).
  • Qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2002 from Coventry University
  • Worked in NHS hospitals in the North West and within South Buckinghamshire
  • Has specialised in the area of neurological rehabilitation since 2003
  • Currently working at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a ‘Specialist Occupational Therapist’ on the ‘Clatterbridge
  • Rehabilitation Centre’ (neurological conditions) at Clatterbridge Hospital, Wirral

Cleo Liu:

  • Full time Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist at TherapyMatters
  • Qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist BSc (Hons) in 2008 from Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK
  • Worked in a variety of acute and rehab hospital settings around UK – and most recent previous post as a Specialist Neurological / Rehab Physiotherapist at the Specialist Spoke Rehabilitation Unit (Major Trauma Network) at St Helens Hospital, St Helens & Knowsley NHS Trust.
  • Specialist experience working with patients who have suffered traumatic or acquired injury (eg Brain injury, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, MS, orthopaedic polytrauma)
  • Attended post-graduate clinical courses to develop Specialist Physiotherapy skills
  • Fully involved in the structured Clinical Supervision & Training Programme delivered to staff members by TherapyMatters

Claire Waldron:

  • Qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2004 from Huddersfield University.
  • Worked within Wirral Hospital foundation Trust across various locations including the acute hospital with adults and children and within the community at 2 special schools. Has also recently been a Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist within East Cheshire Trust at Hebden Green Community School with children aged 2 – 19 years.
  • Is currently a highly specialist team leader paediatric physiotherapist at Countess of Chester Hospital, Foundation NHS Trust
  • Has Specialised within the area of Paediatrics since 2008
  • Is a Bobath trained therapist following successful completion of the Paediatric Bobath Foundation Course at The Bobath Centre, London.
