  • Qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1989 from Liverpool University
  • Worked in a variety of acute and rehab hospital settings around UK and Australia
  • Has specialised within the area of neurological rehabilitation since 1993
  • Founder and Clinical Lead at TherapyMatters
  • Has a clinical education role within the TherapyMatters team
  • Is a Bobath Tutor and regularly teaches clinical courses to therapists at an undergraduate and post graduate level within the NHS and private clinics, in the UK and abroad.

Siân Rowlands

  • Physiotherapy BSc(Hons) degree qualification from Cardiff University in 2013
  • Worked in a variety of acute, rehabilitation and community hospital settings within Wrexham Maelor, Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge hospitals with over 5 years experience in the National
    Health Service. Whilst acting in a senior role, completed the University of Liverpool Clinical Educators Course in September 2017
  • Completed PgCert qualification in Neurological Rehabilitation at Keele University working at a Masters level in 2017
  • Specialised in area of neurological rehabilitation in 2018 at TherapyMatters

Lauren Mason

  • Started work as a physiotherapist in Aintree Hospital in Liverpool, and worked here for 1 year before then moving to the Countess of Chester Hospital for a further 3 years. Completed several band 5 & band 6 rotations at the Countess before wanting to specialise in neurological physiotherapy.
  • Started working at TherapyMatters in 2018 and specialised within the area of neurological and complex rehabilitation.
  • Has completed many Bobath courses, to an Advanced Level, to maintain CPD portfolio both within the clinic and externally.Lauren is a current member of the following organisations:

Nicola Harris

  • Qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2019 from Keele University.
  • Completed level 3 sports massage and kinesiology taping qualifications as an undergraduate.
  • Worked in a variety of specialised areas at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust, including: stroke and neurological rehabilitation, elderly care, respiratory medicine and intensive care, and MSK outpatients.
  • Joined the TherapyMatters team in 2021 and specialised in neurological and complex rehabilitation.
  • Completed the Bobath introductory modules and Basic Bobath course in 2022.

John Buchan

  • Specialised in neurological rehabilitation on graduation and worked at the Neurotherapy Centre in Saltney, Chester.
  • Worked in a variety of specialities in the NHS, including Stroke Rehabilitation, Community Rehabilitation, Intensive Care, Accident & Emergency department, Musculoskeletal outpatients, Orthopaedics and Trauma.

Eleanor Milosevic

Specialist neurological physiotherapist

  • Qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Keele University in 2019
  • Worked in the Neurotherapy Centre in Saltney as a newly qualified Physiotherapist for 18 months, treating a variety of neurological conditions which fired my interest in neurological rehabilitation.
  • Since then I worked on a general rehabilitation ward in the Shropshire Community Trust and as a Band 6 community physiotherapist with the Manchester University Foundation Teaching
    Trust. As a community physiotherapist, I treated pathologies including OA, stroke, Parkinson’s, FND to name a few.
  • Joined the Therapy Matters Team in March 2024 and have completed both the introductory Bobath modules.
  • Member of the CSP and HCPC organisations.

Amelia Evans

Neurological physiotherapist

  • Graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a First Class Honours Degree  in 2023
  • Completed post graduate rotations within Manchester University Foundation Teaching Trust including Adult Medicine, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, and Surgery and ITU, treating patients with a variety of conditions including respiratory, neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s and hypoxic brain injury and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Completed a wide range of clinical placements across a variety of NHS trusts in the North West of Manchester, including stroke rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Adult Intermediate care, Respiratory physiotherapy and Community MacMillan.
  • Member of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and The Charted Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
